Dear Friends and Fellow Dear Farmers

Canterbury Imported Red Deer Stud will shortly release the 2010 Hind Catalogue offering hinds for sale by private treaty. The 2010 offering includes pure Easterns, pure Warnhams, and Warnham/Woburn crosses.

The catalogue will be available for viewing on this website and will also be emailed out to those on our website email contact list. Please feel free to contact me me on cantdeerstud@xtra.co.nz or 0274 345 031 if you would like to be sent a hard copy of the catalogue.

Many of the Easterns for sale would be very suitable for trophy production. One only has to study the predigree of Morpheus D.G. 531 IOA @ only 3 years of age to appreciate what the Eastern antler length can contribute to the structure of trophy antler that the out fitters are suddenly demanding. The temperament of our Easterns is exceptional. The bottom line of Morpheus D.G. features strongly within our Eastern herd.

Some of the pure Warnhams in the sale are a little older, but they still have plenty of years left in them yet. Importantly these hinds have always produced a fawn, they are in their prime, and they have the correct antler structure to build on, for both trophy and velvet.
